When a customer pays by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, MB WAY or SEPA direct debit, Stripe collects it on the Stripe account set up in your name and deducts its standard rate before paying the rest out to your bank. Sail adds nothing on top and takes no share of your payments.

Before you pay
Which countries can use Sail?
Sail is in early access in the 20 eurozone countries, and signup is open in all of them: your business's country sets the tax-id format and the country of your Stripe account. Payment requests, payment pages, bank sync, cards and direct debit and the assistant work everywhere. Certified invoicing and the VAT draft are live in Portugal only for now.
What happens when I reach my monthly allowance of payments?
Nothing stops. Every payment past it costs €0.05 on your next usage invoice, up to the cap, and the counter resets with the month. If it keeps happening, the next plan is cheaper than the overage, and switching takes one click.
Who charges me when a customer pays by card or direct debit?
Stripe does, from the payment itself, at its published rates, on the Stripe account set up in your name. The complete fee schedule is available in the app. The rest is paid out to your bank. Sail takes no share of your payments, and bank transfers never involve Stripe at all.
Can I make sure AI never adds to my bill?
Yes. Set your monthly AI cap to zero and the assistant stops at the tokens your plan includes. You can also run it on your own provider key, in which case Sail bills nothing for AI at all.
How is MCP different from Sail’s assistant?
Sail’s built-in assistant is included in every plan. MCP connects a compatible external AI app to the Sail data and management tools you authorise, within your existing permissions. Every change requires your confirmation in Sail, and you can revoke access at any time. MCP is included in Plus, Pro and Custom; Basic requires an upgrade. Your external AI app’s own charges apply, and MCP reads do not use your Sail assistant allowance.
Is VAT included?
No. Every price on this page excludes VAT, which is added on your plan and usage invoices — 23% IVA for a business in Portugal. A business elsewhere in the EU that gives its VAT number is billed under the reverse charge.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your billing settings. A monthly plan ends at the end of the month, a yearly plan at the end of its year, and usage already incurred is billed on the final usage invoice.
